Secure the Lot

Before any planning or pricing takes place, finding and securing the lot is the first step: whether it is a HDB lot or a client-sourced lot. *limitations may apply for HDB lots.​

Develop the Plan

This is an iterative process between client, builder, and architect to design a plan that will stay in budget and meet the needs of the client. Launching this phase of a project incurs a consultation fee that will be applied to the final cost of the build.

Typical Timeline: 3 months

Financing + Contract

A fixed price will be determined by the builder who will provide the client with detailed specifications, including several allowances for certain line items. A builder's deposit is taken at contract signing.​

Make Selections

Your fixed price includes an allotment of design hours with one of our professional designers. Any selections that fell outside of what was included in the fixed price will be added to the total cost of the build.

Time to Build!

Our team was in the background working on site planning and permitting during the selections process. After a pre-construction meeting, our team is ready to launch into active construction. We consider this phase's timeline to start once foundation has been completed.

Our Warranty

At Hoeken Design Build, we stand behind our work. Hoeken Homes come with a 10-year structural warranty through Quality Builders Warranty. We won the Builders of Integrity award through QBW!
